The Doctor of Dental Medicine is a straight six year program administered by the DEAN of the College of Dentistry. The first two years is the Pre-Dental covering the General Education and other health related subjects, and a four years Dentistry Curriculum with the first two years covering the Basic Medical and Dental Science and Pre-Clinical Subjects, the last two years on clinical training.

DOCTOR OF OPTOMETRY is a primary eye care provider who specializes in the:
- Examination of the EYE and its function
- Diagnosis, treatment and management of visual problems and disorders of the visual system.
- Prescribe and dispense ophthalmic lenses, prism, contact lenses & low vision aids
- Conducts ocular exercises, Vision training & Orthoptics
- Installing prosthetic

In the Philippines, the profession started as a four (4) year course. In 1998, the course increased from four to six years. The first batch of optometrists who graduates from the six-year curriculum in 2004 is authorize by law to use diagnostic pharmaceutical agents (DPAs) in their practice. A Special Pharmacology Course is likewise offered in different optometry institutions to give practitioners who graduated from the four-year course the privilege to use DPAs.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) cited Optometry as one of the most in-demand courses in the Philippines in 2012 and in the next few years. According to PRC Chairperson Teresita R. Manzala and Commissioner Jennifer Manalili, while some professions are now suffering from an oversupply of licensed professionals such as teachers, nurses, and criminologists, many other courses have been undersubscribed in the past years. Hence, the need to inform the public of what courses and professions may be considered by high school graduating students and their parents.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through their Project Jobs Fit, has recently disclosed the list of in-demand and hard-to-fill occupations in the country for this year and the next ten (10) years.
DOLE advice students to carefully study the latest labor market information before deciding on their college or technical/vocational course, and not immediately dive in a popular course hoping to easily find employment. Unpopular courses may not be attractive to students but may provide the most productive and high-paying local jobs in the end. The result of the study from the Project Jobs Fit identified the key employment generators (KEGS) which are said to have the potential of absorbing the greatest number of Philippine workforce in the next tenyears. Optometry & opticians are included in the list of in-demand and hard-to-fill occupations.
Jobrapido.com released the list of “Top Jobs in Demand for the Future” in 2013, Optometry was among in the list. According to the website that as the population keeps aging, there is naturally going to be a rise in the people facing vision problems, and this makes the optometrist career a lucrative and in demand career.
The COLLEGE OF OPTOMETRY of Mindanao Medical Foundation College got its government recognition in 1979 under MATS College of Technology that became one of its flagship medical course. It was the first optometry school in Mindanao. In April,2014, CHED Davao released the new government recognition for the College of Optometry to operate under Mindanao Medical Foundation College.

The degree of Doctor of Optometry shall be an academic undertaking recognized in the Philippines which is locally and globally accepted. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science, or previously known as Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, is a four-year bachelor’s degree that focuses on the practice of providing laboratory information and vital services needed for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions. This undergraduate degree attracts students of varying backgrounds and degrees providing a new career or foundation for advanced degrees. This degree provides sequential instruction in laboratory medicine for the student who has been well prepared in science and mathematics during the first 2 years of study in Mindanao Medical Foundation College. Students complete an intense curriculum that includes lectures and student laboratory classes, and then complete a one-semester clinical practicum in one of our affiliated clinical sites on their fourth year.
This degree further develops Clinical Laboratory Professionals that are highly skilled scientists who discover the presence or absence of disease and provide data that helps physicians determine the best treatment for the patient. Although they are not often personally involved with patients, laboratory technologists play a crucial role in the process of providing personalized care.
The Medical Technology Internship Program will be a global academic enterprise recognized not only in the Philippines, but throughout the world as demonstrated by the students, patients, employers, professionals, and the public. It will be the standard by which the school will measure their performance in terms of Medical Technology. Its hallmarks will be competency, teamwork, and student initiative to respond to patient care in the health delivery system.

The Medical Technology Internship Program aims to:

A branch of rehabilitative medicine that uses specially designed exercises & equipment for the preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement & Physical function impaired or threatened by disability, injury, or disease that utilizes therapeutic exercises, physical modalities, assistive devices & patient education and training.
The vision of the Department of Physical Therapy is to be recognized nationally and globally as an excellent academic enterprise producing leaders in clinical practice, research, and education.
The Physical Therapy Program aims to:
- Develop the knowledge and skills necessary to assess and develop a treatment program for patients in need of physical therapy services.

This is 4-year course which prepare the graduate to cater the needs of the community on how to suture perineal laceration and intravenous insertion in case of obsterical emergency. The graduate are trained how to manage patient during pregnancy, puerperium and even in the care of new born. Finally, their training is generated towards health care provider in the community.
The Midwifery Department envisions itself as a concrete School of Midwifery that is always on the peak of global concerns; able to meet the ever changing and challenging demands of health care in the society they belong; and responsive to national and international call of service.
The Midwifery Department aims to develop professional midwives who are caring, God-fearing, honest, respectful, and compassionate in providing services for humanity, regardless of religion, race, and nationality.

This is a 4-year course which prepares the graduate in the development of radiology to meet needs of the changes and innovation in this specialty. the practice requires the knowledge necessary for the Radiologic Technology to perform its task with confidence, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care and management and the operation of specialized equipment in a component and safe manner.
